Chief Helper

The founder of ElderSurfers, Jim Morgan, worked in computer or scientific firms for 14 years as a manager, writer, or trainer. He has worked directly or as a contractor for Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, the City of Seattle, and Los Alamos National Laboratory. This background gives him both the technical knowledge to help you and experience at explaining complex information to a wide range of audiences, from top executives to children. When needed, he calls upon other experts who he knows can work with older citizens with the patience and respect you deserve.

Jim was raised in Raleigh, N.C., USA, and returned here in 2008 to provide support for his aging mother. Along with many personal friends among older folks, he has regular contact with seniors through volunteer work at organizations such as Hospice of Wake County. At Hospice he trains new volunteers and works with grieving children. Jim holds black belts in two martial arts, has published a teamwork book, writes fiction, plays congas, and proudly serves as "oddfather" to a lot of great kids.

ElderSurfers is a subsidiary of TeamTrainers Consulting, his business team training and consulting practice, City of Raleigh Business License #108907. We will be happy to provide local references.
